Flautist Eva Frick and Guitarist Ruben Fischer
Both masters of their instruments, flautist Eva Frick and guitarist Ruben Fischer are known for their performances filled with energy and passion. They love to combine well known classics with rare and exciting discoveries.
Following her studies at the University of Music in Freiburg/Germany with Prof. Mirjam Nastasi, flautist Eva Frick completed her training with a concert diploma and a graduate recital in the field of Early Music with Prof. Christoph Huntgeburth at the University of the Arts Berlin.
As a soloist and ensemble musician, she performs regularly with several orchestras and ensembles, such as Concerto Brandenburg, Elbipolis Barockorchester Hamburg, c/o Chamber Orchestra, Batzdorfer Hofkapelle, Capella Vitalis and the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin.
She was awarded scholarships from both the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now and the Richard Wagner Society, and is a graduate of the Ensemble Academy Freiburg.
Ruben Fischer initially studied guitar with Prof. Boris Björn Bagger at the University of Music in Karlsruhe/Germany, and then switched to Prof. Thomas Müller-Pering at the Berlin University of the Arts. Subsequently, he studied film music at the Film University Potsdam-Babelsberg.
In master classes, he took lessons from Costas Cotsiolis, Maximilian Mangold, William Kanengiser, Olaf van Gonnissen, Andreas von Wangenheim, Carlo Marcchione and Alexander Swete, and from flamenco guitarists in Seville, Jerez and Barcelona.
He is Fellow of Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now. As a guitarist, Ruben Fischer can be heard in a variety of ensembles and in film music productions, he has appeared several times as a soloist with an orchestra. Ruben also composes film scores, that are broadcast at numerous festivals and on television.
