Lively and engaging harpist Danielle has been entrusted to provide the music for some of this country’s highest profile events and people. She has played on many occasions for the Royal family including for their special birthdays and she has performed for four consecutive prime ministers.

From Buckingham Palace and the Palace of Versailles to concerto soloist at major international concert halls such as the Musikverein in Vienna and the Wigmore Hall in London, Danielle’s solo and chamber music recital career spans the globe. She has performed in the UK and Eire, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, the USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, South Korea, Malaysia, Russia, and Hong Kong. An International competition prizewinner, she has received awards from the Arts Council of Great Britain, and recognition of her work brought her the livery of the Worshipful Company of Musicians. Her recordings have received great critical acclaim across the world’s media and she has broadcast internationally on radio and TV as well as appearing in films such as Persuasion and Rough Crossings.

Her programmes offer an attractive range of repertoire from Classical to Jazz and traditional and she can offer a wide range of themes. Danielle is passionate about her instrument and she conveys that with fun and persuasion to her listeners. Such a varied and exciting career has had its funny and even bizarre moments and Danielle tells of these with wit and candour.

The ships on which Danielle has played are Ocean Majesty, Balmoral, Black Watch, Braemar (next month!), Boudicca and Artemis. Danielle’s favourite destinations have been Norway for its timelessly wonderful natural scenery, Iceland (especially for the Blue Lagoon!), Ephesus (for the wonderful ancient monuments) and the Mediterranean in general for its warmth and sunshine.
